Partnering for Change
From 2015, EMA has designed the Rutgers School of Social Work alumni magazine.
Since creating a new look for the alumni magazine with stronger visuals and a recognized narrative, along with a new name, “Partnering for Change,” Rutgers School of Social Work has risen in college rankings from 26th to 17th in the country, according to U.S. News and World Report.
Each issue contains several feature articles with large, full-page original photography, celebrating Rutgers School of Social Work as one of the largest, most diverse, most vibrant programs in the country.
Expanding Our View of Mental Health From a Global Perspective
The Spring 2018 issue highlights how RSSW’s faculty and students are partnering with each other and communities to advance the profession’s commitments to social justice and the well-being of individuals, groups, families and communities.
Promoting Gender Equality
This Spring 2020 issue, celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment’s ratification, and how RSSW students, alumni, and faculty are committed to keeping the history of women’s suffrage alive by promoting voter registration opportunities and access for those who have historically been disenfranchised.
Changes on the Horizon
This Spring 2023 issue, celebrates the outgoing dean stepping down from her post, after leading the Rutgers School of Social Work through a decade of innovation, growth and significant change.
Bold Ideas take Root
This Spring 2024 issue, introduces the Inclusion, Intersectionality, Diversity, Equity and Advancement (IIDEA) initiative established in 2020. Rooted in social justice, this issue details the committees great progress in achieving their goals and giving a glimpse into the work they have championed since Fall 2020.
